Children’s sports clubs across West Lothian are meeting again after The Scottish Government updated the official guidance for sport, culture and leisure.Since lockdown began outdoor sport has been put on hold to stop the spread of infection but the latest guidelines announced on July 9 allow children to return, with new measures in place.The updated guidance allows for children and young people under 18 to participate in organised outdoor contact sport, in line with the guidance of the governing body for that sport.The new rules came into place on July 13 and sport clubs across the county have been returning to training over the past two weeks.The head coach at East Calder Community Football Club, Davie Walls, explained: “We had our first.
