While individual school rules, start days and times will vary from place to place, the Scottish Government have published a full list of guidelines which schools must follow, but what exactly are they?
The Scottish Government say the guidance is "designed to support a safe return to school for all children, young people and staff".
The guidelines include:HygieneMeasures to allow pupils and staff time to clean their hands with soap and warm, running water or sanitiser, when they arrive at school, return from breaks, change rooms and before and after eating.Good respiratory hygiene must be practised.
