Ayrshire baby born with a rare genetic condition has inspired a charity night which hopes to raise funds and awareness of the defect.
Little Micah McEwan was born on July 5 with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) – which causes a hole in the baby’s diaphragm resulting in abdominal organs entering the chest cavity preventing lung growth – and has already undergone five operations within the first eight weeks of his life.
The tot has spent the past two months in Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with mum Nicole Brown and dad Ian McEwan, from Drongan, staying at Ronald McDonald House keeping watch over their little one.
