Kate Garraway was cheered by Good Morning Britain viewers as she shared a scathing response to Gavin Williamson receiving a knighthood.

The presenter, 54, was back as the main host of the ITV news programme alongside Ben Shephard as they brought the latest news on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The pair were joined on the programme by deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab when he was asked about the news that former Education Secretary will be knighted. The Prime Minister sacked Mr Williamson from that role in September following the exams fiasco and he was previously dumped as defence secretary following an inquiry into a leak from the National Security Council.
