Jackie McNamara has spoken publicly for the first time since suffering a brain haemorrage that left him fighting for his life.
The former Celtic and Scotland hero posted an emotional video on YouTube thanking fans for the outpouring of support that has helped him on his way to recovery.
McNamara was rushed to Hull Royal Infirmary after collapsing outside his home in York two months ago. After emerging from a coma the former Partick Thistle manager spent three weeks in hospital recovering before returning home.
Now McNamara has moved to thank supporters and the medical experts who he says saved his life. McNamara said: “Delighted to share my first message since my health scare in February.
