Jim Lanzone, the veteran tech executive who led CBS’ push into streaming video, has been named the new CEO of Tinder. He replaces Elie Seidman, who has led the Match Group-owned business since 2017.

The role brings Lanzone back to his consumer technology roots. He served as the CEO of Ask.com before founding internet TV guide startup Clicker.com.

CBS acquired the business in 2011 and he became CEO of the media company’s digital division, CBS Interactive. Under his CBS Interactive, which owns brands like CNET, Gamespot and TV Guide, grew to 190 million monthly unique U.S.
