Sledgehammer Games has removed a game mode from Call of Duty: Vanguard on Xbox Series X/S due to crashes on the console. The Champion Hill game mode has been removed while the developer investigates the underlying cause of the crashes.
Issues appear to have begun over the weekend after Xbox players reported their games crashing alongside the release of the new playlist. Read more: Sledgehammer said: "We’ve removed Champion Hill on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S while we investigate crash issues in this mode” It comes shortly after the developer was forced to disable the 'Secrets of the Pacific' in-game event a few hours after its launch due to "widespread crashing issues" affecting many players.
