Beastie Boys, has died at the age of 59.Powell’s manager and business partner Tono Radvany confirmed his death from heart failure, saying: “I just want to let everybody know he was a very special man, and he will be sorely missed.”Powell was well-regarded as both a portrait and street photographer, and notably worked with the likes of Andy Warhol, Madonna and Run-DMC during his storied career.

Ricky Powell has tragically died at the age of 59, it has been confirmed.The celebrity photographer is believed to have died of heart failure on Monday. His management company confirmed his sad passing to music website Pitchfork after reports broke out online.

The Tribeca Film Festival has announced the films for its 2020 edition. Included in this year’s slate is a documentary about Pharrell’s Something in the Water festival, titled Hydration, which will feature performances and appearances by JAY-Z, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, PUSHA-T, Dave Grohl, and more.

YouTube isn’t here to save the film festival season, but the platform’s We Are One event is surely attempting to fill the void left by the numerous canceled events due to COVID-19 this year. And with the online festival expected to begin later this week, the platform announced its first-ever line-up consisting of over 100 films, including 13 world premieres, 31 online premieres, and five international online premieres.
