The University of Manchester has postponed its Winter Graduation ceremonies due to the “increased risk” of Covid-19. The events were due to take place next week, but university bosses have taken what they describe as an ‘extremely difficult’ decision to postpone until next Spring.

Graduates who had already registered to attend a ceremony, as of December 10, will have the costs of their gown hire covered by the university.
