But according to Downdetector, there's been a huge spike of reports as of roughly 9pm BST this evening. It's possible that the game could be suffering from simply too many players logging in to play the game, a problem likely to do with the free weekend thats ongoing right now.
A lot of reports appear to be referencing Call of Duty Error Code 3136 which also displays a “you have been disconnected from the call of duty servers” error message.
