A troublemaker who targeted and punched a man after following him off a bus with his friends loudly sobbed and shrieked as he was l ed away to prison for the offence.
Callum Hockey-Parks, who had already been shown leeway by the justice system, blew a “golden opportunity” to avoid prison for the “disgusting” attack.
Hockey-Parks, was originally given a one-year suspended custodial sentence on April 24 for the assault. However, the 21-year-old broke the terms of his court order by failing to keep appointments with the probation service, including rehabilitation and 150 hours of community service.
He had already been on a suspended sentence for a sexual offence from May 2019 at the time that he was given the earlier chance.
