A Brit teacher living in Wuhan has said he is relieved to have chosen not to return to the UK – which is in lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Chris Hill, a foreign language teacher originally from Washington, in Tyne and Wear, lives with his wife and four-year-old daughter about 10 minutes away from the wet market where the virus is believed to have originated.
As Wuhan in China started to go into lockdown in January, Mr Hill toyed with the idea of returning to the UK – but decided not to over uncertainty over whether his family they would be able to join him.
