Derek is still seriously ill, with Kate and her family remaining hopeful he will recover. She returned to GMB on Monday to host the show, with Ben and others welcoming her back.
But Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid would normally be hosting the show on Monday, and for most of the week in fact. Over the past four months since the Covid-19 lockdown came into place in the UK, both hosts have continued to bring viewers the latest updates, four days a week.
