Brighton and Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom says that teams cannot be relegated from the Premier League on a points-per-game basis should the season not be able to conclude, but added that Liverpool should still be crowned champions.

The coronavirus crisis continues to play havoc with sport around the world, with the Premier League now hopeful that they can return to action with behind closed doors matches in June should it be safe to do so.

But with the virus dictating everything, there is a genuine concern that the 2019/20 season may not be able to be played to a finish.
