Boris Johnson and European Commission President Urusla von der Leyen have "paused" their last-ditch Brexit conversation, after speaking on the phone for an hour and a half.
The pair decided to take a break from the marathon chat - a phone call which could finally decide whether we leave the EU with or without a trade deal in less than a month.
The call is expected to kick off again at 6pm. Earlier, the Government indicated Mr Johnson was willing to u-turn on his plan to break international law over Brexit - if progress is made on a Brexit trade deal this week.
Paymaster General Penny Mordaunt said the level playing field remains the "most difficult" issue preventing the UK and the EU from reaching an agreement.
