Stonehaven tragedy has hit back at people 'implying' that her 'kind, gentle husband was to blame' for the rail disaster. Brett McCullough, 45, tragically died when the ScotRail train derailed at Carmont, near Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, just after 9.30am on August 12.
Heavy downpours had battered the region that morning leading to a landslip near to the site and the Glasgow to Aberdeen service had to turn back north.
Earlier today an accident report revealed that the locomotive was travelling at just under 73mph before the crash – which was within the safety limit for the section of track.Brett's grieving wife, Stephanie McCullough has now hit out at claims he was somehow at fault.She affirmed that he was travelling under the instructed.
