Brazilian legend Rivaldo has urged Samba starlet Gabriel Veron to join Manchester City ahead of bitter rivals United. Veron, named after former United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron, is expected to be involved in a fierce £53million transfer fight between the two Manchester clubs in the summer.
The 18-year-old is already one of the hottest properties in South America after a breakthrough season with Palmeiras. And while Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also tracking him, Veron is expected to head to the Premier League with both La Liga clubs strapped for cash.
