mirror.co.ukA bouncer is fighting for his life in hospital after a man jumped out of a car and threw a brick at his head. The doorman, 28, is in a critical condition after an unknown assailant attacked him.
The assault happened at the Oak Inn in Coventry at around 12.45am. Detectives say the assailant got out of a grey Seat Leon with missing number plates which had pulled up outside the venue before throwing the brick.
The unnamed doorman is currently in hospital having undergone emergency surgery, reports CoventryLive. Detective Sergeant Aman Hundal, of West Midlands Police, is appealing for witnesses to the attack.
