The Walt Disney Co. executive chairman Bob Iger has joined his first outside board of directors since stepping down from Apple's board last year.
Iger is joining the board of Perfect Day Foods, a startup developing vegan dairy alternatives. In announcing the addition of Iger, the company says the former Disney CEO will bring to the firm his "unique blend of operational and global market excellence" and "is poised to help the company execute its rapid expansion plans." Iger stepped aside as Disney CEO earlier this year, shifting to an executive chairman role where he oversees the company's entertainment and programming strategy.
