Vicente Pérez López, commander of the army headquarters in Puerto Vallarta, said one woman was a Sargent posted as an office worker and the a teacher at an army school."They were kidnapped for the simple reason that they belonged to the army," he said. "They had nothing to do with any operational issues."Gen.
López said the women were abducted while sleeping and described the kidnapping as a "cowardly act". Jalisco New Generation Cartel is quickly becoming Mexico’s most powerful drug syndicate following the fall of El Chapo.
