Chadwick Boseman has been laid to rest near his hometown. The Black Panther star tragically died on August 28 after a secret four-year battle with colon cancer.
The actor, who was 43, was buried near his South Carolina hometown six days after his death, his death certificate, released on Monday, reveals.
Chadwick, best known for playing the Marvel superhero, died at his home near Griffith Park in Los Angeles. His cause of death was listed as multiple organ failure with the underlying cause of colon cancer.
He was laid to rest on September 3 at Welfare Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, South Carolina. His final resting place is just 11 miles away from his hometown of Anderson.
