BBC show in 2016.The chef presented Saturday Kitchen for 10 years before he quit and was replaced by Matt Tebbutt.He went on to front ITV’s Saturday Morning from 2017.James explained that following his departure from Saturday Kitchen, he doesn’t pay too much attention to the programme.When quizzed on whether he monitors the “rating gap” between the two shows, the star said: “I don’t even look.”James revealed he has confidence in his new show because it was commissioned for another series by ITV.He added in an interview with The Times from 2018: “I know it’s doing well because they’ve commissioned it again. “It doesn’t interest me.”James also said he “doesn’t miss” the live television aspect of hosting Saturday Kitchen, as Saturday Morning.
