BBC meteorologist Matt Taylor has predicted that large parts of the north of the UK may see “substantial and disruptive snow” over the coming days.
The Met Office has already issued a yellow weather warning for the white stuff to land in many parts of Scotland from Monday.
Experts anticipate as much as 15cm of snow to accumulate during the 60-hour weather warning. Temperatures are also set to plummet to well below freezing over the course of next week, with lows of around -9C expected in some parts of the Highlands.
