Taliban takeover has now revealed his intentions to go back into a danger zone and "drive through ISIS territory," after plans to cycle fell through.

Miles Routledge, a physics student at Loughborough University, said he settled on Afghanistan after googling ‘most dangerous countries to visit’ and picking the top entry.Since then, he has been in Kazakhstan during rioting there in January and in recent days has embarked on another trip, with the aim of going back to Afghanistan to rescue a tour guide there who helped him during the Brit's first visit.

The 22-year-old is currently in Pakistan before moving on to Afghanistan, which is still under the strict Taliban regime.Earlier today (Monday, April 25), he said that he was crossing Pakistan's border with Afghanistan in the coming days, and that security forces had blocked his plans to cycle through "ISIS territory."He tweeted: "Slight change of plan, I've got someone picking me up at the border in the next few days, sadly won't be cycling through ISIS territory but just driving.

The capital has many members but it's not their territory. Security forces won't allow me to cycle."Before that, he posted a series of downcast tweets - which have since been deleted - expressing dismay that his trip was ruined and that he was "screwed" because the guide he was due to eject from the country got cold feet.
