Barcelona will save £600,000-a-week on their wage bill after offloading Antoine Griezmann back to Atletico Madrid. The Spanish side have suffered a tough summer, losing iconic forward Lionel Messi to PSG due to La Liga’s financial regulations over wages.

The 2018 World Cup winner spent five seasons with Atletico in his first stint at the club, scoring 133 goals in more than 250.
