Dame Barbara Windsor 's dementia diagnosis has left her struggling with isolation during the coronavirus pandemic. The EastEnders legend's close friend Christopher Biggins says her Alzheimer's condition means she can't understand why nobody is visiting her.

Barbara, 82, is used to a number of her close friends and family members popping round to visit her, which of course they're now unable to do since the UK is in lockdown.

The Peggy Mitchell actress, who is being cared for by her husband Scott, doesn't understand that her loved ones aren't allowed to visit because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
