The marmoset, named TikTok, was discovered after an inspector from the RSPCA visited a property in Greys, Essex, reports the BBC.
TikTok was just a few months old and had been taken from his parents prematurely leaving the monkey in a fragile state.The RSPCA confirmed that the baby monkey was re-homed at Monkey World in Dorset and had already been taken in by a pair of adult marmosets.RSPCA inspector Jack Taylor said: "I was shocked by the conditions this poor boy was living in.
