Army operates a temporary COVID-19 assessment hub at Pitlochry

From Monday, May 18 to Friday 22 the temporary mobile facility operated by the Ministry of Defence will be in the main car park on Atholl Road, outside the Perth and Kinross Council’s housing office in Pitlochry.There is an online link which will guide people on making appointments.

The testing will be done while individuals remain in their cars.Fundraisers take on challenges during lockdownUnder the Civil Contingencies Act, Perth and Kinross Council was asked to provide a list of suitable locations in a range of towns for mobile testing sites, as an extension of the five national testing centres.Major Alexander Corder, Blenheim Division, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom will be responsible for the running of the site in Pitlochry.In
