North Wales are about to go into local lockdown. The Welsh Government coronavirus restrictions are much tighter than those in England - with rules in place preventing people from leaving and travelling to these counties without good reason.
These new measures, which are said to affect 500,000 people, will come into force at 6pm on Thursday, October 1. Which means a number of Welsh resorts will be closed to visitors from outside the local authority - with areas that are incredibly popular with tourists from the North West becoming off limits.
