Ant and Dec took a savage shot at their broadcasting rival Piers Morgan after winning their BAFTA TV Award.The lovable Geordie duo picked up the BAFTA for Best Entertainment Programme for their work on Saturday Night Takeaway - the first award of the evening on Sunday (May 8).

It's certainly not the first time they've stepped onto the stage to pick up a TV award, given their record-breaking wins at the National Television Awards.They managed to beat out huge shows like Strictly Come Dancing and An Audience With Adele to pick up the prestigious gong.However, they didn't hold back when asked about former Good Morning Britain anchor Piers at the winners' press conference, which took place at London's Royal Festival Hall.Speaking to Daily Star and other press, the I'm A Celeb presenters shared their thoughts on Mr Morgan, who has just launched his new Uncensored show on TalkTV.The cheeky TV stars were told Piers hates them for winning stacks of TV awards, and they had a hilarious response.Ant said: "That's great, I don't mind that," and Dec replied: "We're doing something right, then."They were then asked how it feels to have been able to spread joy through Saturday Night Takeaway during the pandemic.Ant and Dec have been hosting the prank-filled Saturday night show for an epic run of 18 series - after the first episode aired in 2002.Ant said he counts himself "very lucky" to be able to do a job that he loves, which involves putting a smile on the viewers' faces."We're very lucky to be in a job where we can hopefully put a smile on people's faces.
