Ricky Gervais couldn't help but throw a cheeky quip in Piers Morgan's direction following interview with a Taliban spokesperson for his show on TalkTV.Tuesday evening (May 10) saw the former Good Morning Britain presenter speak with Suhail Shaheen, an official representative for the Taliban.Piers, 57, challenged the spokesperson on girls' rights to an education.Ricky, who is known for being outspoken and has often clashed with Piers Morgan, was asked by fans for his thoughts.A fan, who slammed the interview as 'disgusting' tweeted: "@rickygervais what do you think about @piersmorgan interviewing the Taliban tonight?"The comedian, famous for shows like The Office, Extras and Afterlife quickly hit back: "I've lost all respect for them".Several social media users seemed to think that the actor's tweet was a play on words as Piers cracked up at Gervais' response, suggesting it was a swipe at the term "them".

Fans seemed to agree with the scathing remark. with one penning: "Wow. Brilliant response sir.
