PIERS Morgan has slammed the Eurovision Song Contest as a "rigged farce" after Ukraine took home the trophy last weekend. The Talk TV presenter - who hosts his own show called Uncensored - called out the country's win as a "predictable landslide".

Piers, 56, reacted to the news that Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine was crowned the winner of Eurovision on Saturday night. The former Good Morning Britain star blasted that the result was "rigged" due to Russia's military assault on the country. "And the 12 points from all of Europe goes to – Ukraine, well obviously, and quite right too I hear you cry," he told viewers. "It’s been heralded as a triumph of good over evil, a stunning show of sympathy and solidarity for the embattled Ukrainians in their hour of need, a much-needed smack in the face for Vladimir Putin.
