Andres Iniesta has heaped praise on former Barcelona manager Louis van Gaal for giving him the platform to become a legend at the Nou Camp.
The Spaniard is one of the finest midfielders of his generation, racking up 674 appearances for Barca and claiming nine La Liga titles, six Copa del Rey victories and four Champions League triumphs.
He also earned 131 caps for his native Spain, scoring the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final as well as picking up two European Championships.
Iniesta started his iconic career at Barca, emerging from their youth setup to make his professional bow under Van Gaal in 2002.
