Louis van Gaal blames the 'evil genius' Ed Woodward for the manner of his controversial sacking by Manchester United in 2016.
Van Gaal was appointed as David Moyes' successor in May 2014, signing a three-year contract which came into effect after he coached the Netherlands to third place at the 2014 World Cup.
At the time, Woodward claimed Van Gaal had 'impressed everyone around the club' and said there was 'a real positive energy and buzz around the place'.
United eventually finished fourth in Van Gaal's first season but fell to fifth in a second soporific campaign marred by a winless December and unwatchable football.
