Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United are still in pole position to sign Jadon Sancho this summer despite potential financial struggles amid the coronavirus pandemic.
That is according to former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves, who claims the Red Devils will still have the financial muscle to land the Borussia Dortmund ace.
Sancho is one of the hottest properties in European football and the teenager is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the upcoming transfer window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s forward line already contains the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and the emerging Mason Greenwood, but United are nevertheless said to maintain a serious interest in him.
