Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Manchester United responded to victories for Chelsea and Leicester City earlier this week with a hard-fought win of their own at luckless Crystal Palace.

The hosts thought they should have had a penalty in the first half when Victor Lindelof appeared to trip Wilfried Zaha in the box, before Marcus Rashford coolly slotted United ahead on the stroke of half-time.

Palace saw Jordan Ayew have a goal ruled out by VAR when he was found to be marginally offside at the beginning of the second period, the visitors then doubled their lead when Anthony Martial put the finishing touch to a slick move by firing home.
