Los Blancos wrapped up their 34th La Liga title on Thursday night with victory over Villarreal. They have been tipped to splash the cash again this summer with the likes of Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and Jadon Sancho all reportedly on their radar.
But Perez has now insisted no major transfers will be possible due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
His honest admission has opened the door to Premier League clubs to try and swoop whilst Real Madrid are out of the running for the top players in world football.
