Bayern Munich chiefs have reportedly ruled out selling Kingsley Coman after Manchester United registered an interest in the Frenchman.
The Red Devils are keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season, and have been strongly linked with a move for Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
But the Athletic claim United are looking at alternatives in case they find themselves priced out of a deal, and have been keeping track of Coman.
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus star has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season, chipping in with seven goals.
