Manchester United could end up funding most of Manchester City's transfer for Ferran Torres this summer. Pep Guardiola has landed his first target this transfer window as he looks to wrap up his business quickly.
Torres has joined from Valencia for a fee of £25m after a fine year in La Liga.The 20-year-old has been touted as one of the best prospects coming out of Spain for many years.And he could not wait to work under Guardiola, with the Catalan coach an icon in his native homeland.In an added boost, though, it could work out that United end up paying for the bulk of the fee.
