Hulu has set an April premiere date for FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven, from Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black. Inspired by Jon Krakauer’s true crime bestseller, Under the Banner of Heaven, starring Oscar nominee Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones, will launch April 28 exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. It will follow on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories. The premiere will feature the first two episodes, with a new episode available weekly for the next five weeks. FX also released a first-look photo above.

Alex Trebek is paying it forward. The legendary television host has once again turned words into action -- this time, to help fund the building of a new homeless shelter in the San Fernando Valley area just north of Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that Alex donated $500,000 to help Hope of the Valley build a brand new shelter.In speaking to TMZ, Ken Craft, founder of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, said the yet-to-be-built 50,000-square-foot facility in the San Fernando Valley will house homeless seniors.  Hope of the Valley is hoping to break ground in 2021.Ken told the website that Alex's massive donation "brought him to tears."Alex and his wife, Jean, are hoping that their donation will spur others to do the same to help out the homeless, the report says.Alex clearly holds Hope of the Valley close to his heart. In March, he and Jean donated $100,000 to the aforementioned North Hollywood facility and got a wing named after them.
