Lauren Silverman is “constantly concerned” about her fiancé Simon Cowell as negative stories about The X Factor have come to light, a source claims.

Simon, 62, was the boss of the hit ITV show that aired from 2004 up until 2019 – creating mega stars such as Leona Lewis, Little Mix and One Direction.

But in recent weeks, it has been reported that contestants and judges didn’t receive appropriate care during their time on the series, with a former stylist saying there was a “dark misogyny” on the show.

Grace Woodward, who worked on The X Factor in 2010, recently claimed that Liam Payne, who was aged 17 at the time, “asked her to sit on his lap” backstage.
