Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Rapid Bucharest boss Neil Lennon appears in no rush to allow key man Albion Rrahmani to leave the club this summer amid interest from Rangers.

The 23-year-old looks set to depart the Romanian side this summer after a successful campaign which has saw the Kosovo international net 17 goals.

A move to the Light Blues appeared to be taking a step forward when Rangers director of football recruitment reportedly held talks with the player's agency at TransferRoom's Mexico convention summit earlier this month.

But there has been little movement since then with Philippe Clement's recruitment drive ramping up rapidly - with Connor Barron the fourth signing for the summer so far and Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane set to follow the former Aberdeen man through the door at Ibrox.
