GEMA, which has expanded from TV to also include verticals devoted to film, music, sports and video game marketing execs, has also announced plans for a two-day event in Los Angeles this fall dubbed “Converge.” The news was announced Thursday by GEMA president Stacy La Cotera. “Our vision and values serve as the guiding principles behind every action we take,” said La Cotera. “That’s why our board of directors plays a central role in actively collaborating to ensure strategic decisions align with our shared mission: honoring marketing and creative excellence, nurturing growth and inclusivity, fostering creativity, and enriching our cultural landscape.
Together, they guide the organization’s evolution toward a sustainable future and shape the future of entertainment marketing.” The board includes execs from networks, studios, streamers and companies like Warner Bros.
