About 100 residents signed a petition calling on a teenage thug who made their lives a 'misery' to be removed from his home, a court heard.
Adam Repton, 18, has been hauled before a judge for the 'catalogue' of crimes he committed over several months, including theft, criminal damage and burglary along with other youths. "You and your friends, who you lived with in the area of Moston, made the lives of ordinary, decent people a misery," Judge Anthony Cross QC told him: "So bad was your behaviour, that 100 people or thereabouts very bravely signed a petition with their names and their addresses, finally standing up to your thuggish and dishonest behaviour." One neighbour said Repton's behaviour had affected their quality of life.
