Fans believe the release date may have been pushed back due to extra filming. Yellowstone is a popular Western melodrama series following the Dutton family on their beloved ranch.
At the end of the third season, which aired in August 2020, the Duttons were targeted by anonymous assassins. John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) was shot and left for dead, meanwhile, his daughter Beth (Kelly Reilly) was caught up in an explosion.
