Year one pupils were sent home from a school after children were caught smoking an e-cigarette. Staff at Brockworth Primary Academy in Gloucestershire found the children, who are aged five or six-years-old, with the vape.

Medical checks were carried out on a small number of pupils, Gloucestershire Live reported. Parents have been informed of the incident, which happened on Wednesday morning.

According to a parent at the school, the e-cigarette was brought in by an older pupil. An investigation is now underway to find out how the item was brought into school. Do you have a story to share?
