Ralf Rangnick has turned to a sports psychologist in a desperate bid to solve Manchester United's woes – just like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did during his reign at Old Trafford.

United have been hampered by their inability to hold onto a lead in recent games.The Red Devils threw away four points in a matter of days after blowing 1-0 leads against both Burnley and Southampton.And Rangnick has conceded that United will only be able to salvage their season by improving their mental resilience as they battle to secure a top-four finish.The German innovator hired psychologist Sascha Lense back in December in a bid to give United's flops a mental boost.Solskjaer made a similar move during his reign before he was given the boot back in November.The Norwegian brought in a psychologist to try and give United a mental edge in their bid to improve their form against the Premier League's minnows – but the move failed to pay off for the legendary United striker.Rangnick will be hoping for better luck after linking up with Lense in a desperate bid to stop United throwing games away.Do you think Man Utd will finish in the top four this season?
