I started dancing when I was three, and then when I graduated high school, I was like what am I going to do,” she shared.“I ended up going to school and while I was going to UMass, I was like, should I join the dance team or the cheer team?”“I was like, I’m just going to try out for the New England Patriots and I just on the whim went and tried out, and I ended up making it.”Despite not knowing what to expect, Carmella embraced the process and enjoyed three very successful years with the six-time NFL champions.“I honestly had no idea what to expect; I just showed up, and it was a whole day’s worth,” she added.“There were - I don’t know - five, six hundred people that showed up, and then you kind of just keep trying.“Like, there’s cuts throughout the day and then at the end of the day there’s like a two-week camp and you have to go do interviews show if you can speak well and there’s a bikini thing.”Following her time on the American football.
