Woman who shared snap of £1 dinner she made for kids is cruelly 'mum-shamed'

A row has broken out after a mum was shamed for feeding her kids a ‘healthy’ dinner of sausage, mash and tinned spaghetti. The woman posted a picture of her children’s meal on a Facebook page called Feeding a Family on £1 a day.

She wrote: "Kids tea they don’t always need veg to be healthy portions for a 14-year-old and 8-year-old, “ reports the Daily Record.

The post seemed to be an attempt to show solidarity to fellow mums who struggle to get their kids to eat vegetables. However the post caused a flurry of messages, with people quick to attack her for giving her children a 'carb overload'.
