Emmerdale star Sam Hall has addressed claims he's set to leave the show after reports his character was set to be killed off after 18 years.
The actor is known for playing Samson Dingle in the ITV soap, with the character born on screen in 2006 to parents Sam Dingle and Alice Wilson.
But there was tragedy for the newborn when Alice's cancer, which she was diagnosed with while pregnant, progressively worsened.
Six months after Samson's birth, Sam helped Alice to die by administrating a fatal dose of morphine and the Dingles were surprised when Sam's brother Cain Dingle took the blame for administering the fatal dose so that Samson did not lose both of his parents.
